Ward Christmas Party

We cooked soooo much meat for our ward Christmas party  I came with so much inspiration to take photos  

Got these when I first arrived setting up and sat down and that was it

Yeah got my scentsy counter spray ordered from my BFF. 

Took care of business. 

It really was a great party. Lots of ward family and friends. Lovely program and I felt the spirit and it helped to remind me of the reason for the season. 

I love my Savior Jesus Christ. 

All of my running around and busy work keeps me from seeing and feeling that sometimes. Satan is very cunning tagging way. But I’m onto him and he won’t win. 

I’m team Jesus!!!!!!

Fresh guava!  I’ve never had fresh guava  My coworker was eating one today and I had to partake  the smell so amazing!

Valli Elves

Valli wrapped up our annual Elf project buying gifts for some kids and families through the high school  

I go to drive the sleigh to deliver this year and my BFF was available to come help unloaded!! 

I’ll take BFF time all day!!! 

 

Laughter is the best medicine…

 Nate!!!

Such a good show!  I really enjoyed it more than I thought I ever could. We got tickets for Jake and Courtney to go for a do over of a Christmas gift we promised them that didn’t work out.  They were so gracious and forgiving to let us make it up with a Nate show! 

But after sitting in non moving traffic for way too long both going in and leaving, and having to listen to Mr Kermudgen complain because “he didn’t get it”, I’m pretty sure they will opt out of doing gift “experiences” with us again!  

It really could have been a great night.   I still had a fun time and tried to make the best of things.  But the reality is sometimes it’s just not worth the risk of exposing Jim to anything unfamiliar.

Light The World

 The giving Machine is back in Caldwell!  We were more excited to go this year after working at the plaza last year during the grand opening and freezing for hours of so much fun telling anyone why wanted to know why it was there and what it was all about. 

This year we came  we ate pizza in a warm restaurant, we gave, took a photo and came back to our warm cozy house!  

It felt good!  We’ll spread more cheer to all we come in contact with to go and participate in the joy of giving if your able, but from the warm quiet safe confounds of home!  

Joy is in the Giving!!!! 

2025 Diagnosis

 I really just want to try and keep a record and thought this might be a good place to try and record it. 

After many months of testing and research and Dr visits we finally have a diagnosis for why Jim hasn’t quit been himself   

He has early onset Alzheimer’s disease. 

It’s what I had suspected after watching things more closely with him. But it was still news that rocked my world when I heard it. This post is really just a very simplified dumb down of the summary of what has been allot of emotional ups and downs.   But I’m very determined to seek for and grab on to all of the joy and love God has instore for us through this next chapter!

Mostly my fears are of the unknown and what to expect and how to keep him safe and have a happy life going forward. 

And I know God will provide what I need to accomplish that if we lean on Him!

God is good. I’m nervous about this ride ahead but I love my strong silent mysterious man and we’ve been through so much. I’m ready to tackle this right by his side all the way!!
