I love my trips to Seattle. But this one was extra special.
Brooklyn’s graduation and taking Mom and Cliff to their final resting place at Mt Rainier were the biggest items on the agenda.
you just really never know what you will see in the airport... this was my view in a bathroom stall... haha!!!
With all the construction and updates they are continually doing at SeaTac... I was so schocked at these old style mirrors on the ceiling above baggage claim. Yuk!
They just look dirty and out of date!!! Not even vintage or mod... just old and they are new. This is a new addition in their decor since my last trip.
They did not ask my opinion on this one. Not Approved!!!
Jacob is going to move Papa's pick up over to Idaho and keep it.
It means a ton to him, but it really needs some work.
I guess I just love that he is sentimental about things that were his Papa's♥
Lynn has the flowers and deck looking sooo pretty this year.

The drive to the mountain was so nice and beautiful... I was trying to imagine how far up Mom would be or which side. I was thinking we were headed to the top left... but honestly I couldn't remember where it was until I looked at a map.
As we entered the National Park the trees got bigger and the mountain got bigger!
Still snow when we got closer to Paradise.
The resort was beautiful, I loved how they had restored the lodge!

We were on the backside and felt like about half way up the mountain (Sunrise is the bump on the left where I had thought we were going... now I have to go there some day).
However, At approximately 5,400 feet of elevation, the Paradise area sits at about 37.5% of the height of Mount Rainier (which peaks at 14,410 feet). The remaining 62.5% represents the 9,000 feet of vertical elevation gain required to reach the summit from the Paradise trailhead.
