Utah or bust!

I drove to Utah today after work!

Headed to LDS women's conference 2014... My first time I'm super excited!

The good things about a road trip by myself.... I get to chose the music the whole way!!

The bad part is I already miss my family. 

Let's hope absence makes the heart Grow even fonder. 

Tonight at Patsy's house and then tomorrow the girls leave on the morning for Provo. 

The timing is peculiar because mom and dad Dayley are moving from Az back to Idaho and they are here tonight too but staying at our niece Brittany's house. And going the opposite direction tomorrow. Johnna and Clyde are with them and helping to drive. 

When I arrived at Patsy's dad and Clyde were still here after eating dinner and I think I blew dad's mind. He couldn't figure out why I was here and not in Idaho???  Kind of funny!  So he's on his way to my house and I won't be there. 

But a bonus!  I did get to see Brian and laura and their twins!!

But I didn't get it on camera, but trust me it's cool!!

So fun to be with the family here!!

Can't wait to fill my spiritual cup at the conference the next two days!

Engagement photo day...

The kids moved their engagement photo shoot up to yesterday. 

Jacob was showing me how he posed... Sabrina looks really impressed huh?

Of course just kidding!  

I can't wait to see what they did!!   They had so many cute ideas... And they are adorable together!!

My boy

I look back through pics of my boy and I have allot of these...

Not so desirable photos... Uggg 

He doesn't get that mom just wants a nice picture to show off to friends sometimes. 

But then I found a few sweet smiles, he always redeems himself. 

I love my boy!

Every silly, awnry, obnoxious, annoying, goofy, piece of him. 

She said yes!

We're getting a daughter!

The story: from my perspective (I can't wait to hear her view, I bet there are more details). 

  On a previous date night he took her to the Boise temple to pray about their courtship. They planted some flower seeds in a bed out by the parking lot. If they both had enough faith for those seeds to take root and they grew and bloomed into a flower, then they would know it was the right thing to get married. 

They checked on the seeds on a couple of dates. 

Yesterday he took her back to the temple to find the beautiful flowers there instead (he planted ahead of time). 

He got down on one knee. 

Then he proposed. 

And she said yes!!

We're getting a daughter. 

We are excited for them!

Meet Sabrina!

Friday night bowling double date with Jacob and Sabrina. 

We got to meet just a few of her 11 siblings when we picked her up. And they LOVE "Jake". 

My SSMM said that was all he really needed to know about her. 

He has prayed for a long time Jacob would meet a girl with a big loving family to take him in. That he has, they seem awesome and he digs the thought of all those siblings he never had. 

We got to see them again for Easter Sunday in between church. Made my day. 

So cute they matched!!  He loves to dress up  and she seems to embrace that. I love seeing him so happy.
